
A technology company focused on early childhood education for 3-6 years old is facing issues of insufficient protection of core technologies and lack of empirical evidence in the development of "contextualized intelligent enlightenment interactive devices". The device achieves gamified teaching of enlightenment knowledge through technologies such as voice interaction and scenario animation, improving children's cognitive ability by 42% and maintaining a learning interest rate of 90%. However, the company only applied for 6 design patents in the early stages, and the core voice understanding algorithm and scenario generation engine were not effectively protected, posing a risk of technology counterfeiting; At the same time, due to the lack of academic research support, it is difficult to prove the educational value in cooperation with kindergartens, and market expansion is slow.
After our intervention, we disassembled the entire module of the device technology and, through in-depth communication with early childhood education product developers and early childhood psychologists, identified 17 innovative points in 9 core modules, including the children's speech semantic understanding model, scenario adaptive generation algorithm, and multi sensory interactive feedback system. In response to patent layout defects, a three-dimensional protection strategy of "hardware interaction+software algorithm+early childhood education content" has been developed to assist enterprises in completing 25 patent applications, of which 16 invention patents cover key technologies, including core patents such as "an intelligent interaction method based on children's language features" and "situational enlightenment content dynamic generation system", forming a complete technical protection chain.
In terms of academic paper conversion, we guided the R&D team to conduct empirical research in collaboration with preschool teacher training institutions. We selected 1200 children from 8 kindergartens for comparative experiments and wrote 7 academic papers on the application effects of equipment in language enlightenment and logical thinking cultivation. The focus is on presenting data on the growth of children's vocabulary and the improvement of problem-solving abilities, among which 5 articles are included in the "Research on Preschool Education" and 2 articles are presented as special reports at the International Conference on Early Childhood Education Technology. The use of publicly available patent technology principles in the paper conceals core parameters, ensuring patent novelty and enhancing the persuasiveness of educational outcomes.
After the implementation of the project, the coverage rate of enterprise patent protection increased from 25% to 94%, and three cases of infringement were successfully intercepted. After the publication of academic papers, the value of equipment education was recognized by the industry and included in the procurement catalog of preschool education equipment in 5 provinces and cities. Cooperation was established with 300 kindergartens, and annual sales increased from 80 million yuan to 260 million yuan. Core patents assist enterprises in obtaining a funding of 9 million yuan for the "Early Childhood Education Informatization Project", promoting the extension of technology to scenarios such as childcare institutions.
